The Azeroth Calendar here uses the After Dark Portal (ADP) system, where Year 0 marks the Dark Portal’s opening, and Year 20 ADP aligns with the Culling of Stratholme during the Third War. The current year is 40 ADP. Ichi was 14 before the Culling, with his birth year being 6 After Dark Portal (ADP).

Ichi has a close brother named Masu, who is a Holy Priest ; specifically a Priest of the Elune. But despite being very close siblings, they have different viewpoints on magic and religion, with Ichi being areligious and Masu following Elune, so they sometimes get into disagreements about it.
