Chimarei is a vulpera hemomancer, a user of Blood Magic, despite its stigma. He uses this to both harm his foes, and primarily uses it to heal, cleanse, and treat his allies' injuries, and wants to counteract the notion that Blood Magic is unholy or evil. The Azeroth Calendar here uses the After Dark Portal (ADP) system, where Year 0 marks the Dark Portal’s opening, and Year 20 ADP aligns with the Culling of Stratholme during the Third War. The current year is 40 ADP. Chimarei was 7 before the Culling, with his birth year being 13 After Dark Portal (ADP). The Northern Kingdom's custom months (e.g., Springtide for March, and Verdantfall for August) overlay this timeline.
